Once the gap has closed will it reappear once treatment stops?

In some treatments, if your teeth have not yet settled into position it can. We suggest you place a band around the teeth with the gap if you start to notice it reappearing.

Is teeth gaps treatment for all ages?

We don't recommend this treatment for children of 12 and under or people with delicate teeth.

What causes teeth gaps?

Spaces between the teeth are mostly caused by heredity, however, they also may be caused by personal habits such as tongue thrusting or by abnormal tongue or swallowing movements.

The loss of bone under the gum tissue can also cause teeth to separate, as can loss of the back teeth which often transfers chewing activity forward

How long does it take for the gap to close?

It depends on the treatment and on the size of your gap. Small gaps can disappear in a week. Larger gaps take longer.
